Well today was a different thanksgiving than usual, but it was still lots of fun! Megan and her mom came over and we made stuffing, cheesy potatoes, roasted carrots, and Turkey! and it was fun.
This year I am very thankful for all of my friends and family. I am so lucky to have them all and for them helping to shape me into the woman I am today. I am so lucky to have what I have in my life, and to have people who love me for me! Can't wait to see everyone very soon! <3

Weinachtsmarkt!
It's finally time for the christmas markets! They are so cute and fun. There is hot drinks cute trinkets and yummy treats. It feels like Im in a little village or what a snow globe would look like if it came to life. It's suppose to snow here soon and Im excited for it, sadly Seattle has gotten way more than us. Im excited to take lots of photos of what the christmas market looks like.
My Birthday!
So I finally turned 21! however it's a bit weird turning 21 in a country where I can already drink legally. The day was really fun though. I sadly had to start the day with a test, but I then went to lunch with my friend, and then hung out for a bit, until it was time for us to go to Hamburg for a b-day dinner, we went to a fantastic Indian restaurant and then headed back to Lüneburg for a few drinks and then finally went home to rest for the weekend. Later on that weekend we went to see the new Harry Potter which made the weekend even better! I can't wait to be able to go out with friends and family at home!
Vienna!
So vienna what can I say?? It is pretty much wonderful! I have always wanted to go to Austria and it did not disappoint. I loved all of the culture of this city, it is so big and full of life. We were able to visit a few museums and see wonderful works of Art. We tried the famous coffee drink "Melange" but I must say it was a bit disappointing all it is, is espresso with whipped cream on top. Our hotel was very pretty and had such a great feel to it. I was so sad when we had to leave. Getting there was such an ordeal, our ticket was booked wrong and we missed our flight, we had to buy a new ticket to Vienna, it was so upsetting but it did not ruin the trip, coming back was easy and we got back at a nice time so we could have the rest of the day to relax and do homework. I hope to go back to Austria one day, hopefully next time to Salzburg so I can go to the Sound of Music tour!
Heidelberg!
I went to Heidelberg in the beginning of November, and it was a very wonderful weekend trip. I loved everything about it even though I have been there before this time was a new experience. We went and visited the Castle despite the rain, the castle was gorgeous. We sat inside and had glühwein, ( spiced hot wine) and took many pictures. My uncle was very fun and was excited to have us there, we also got to meet his girlfriend, who was super sweet and cooked us a delicious traditional german meal. We also got to meet her daughter who took us out to meet her friends, we ended up staying out till 6 in the morning even though we had to catch a 8 am flight needless to say it was a very long day. I can't wait to go back again! Herbert and his girlfriend will be visiting me in about three weeks so Im looking forward to that!
Here's the deal
Okay so since I never post on this thing, I am going to get caught up today, I will be three or four diff. ones about what has been going on this last month. Hope you enjoy!

Okay I admit it....
Okay so Im officially the WORST blogger ever, I just feel that during the week I have nothing to exciting to report on... I go to school everyday hang out with friends in the afternoon and then by evening Im tired and doing homework or something, then on weekends I do things but then too tired to actually report on what I'm doing. Any who I have officially been in Germany for 2 Months! Which means I only have a month and a half left in this beautiful country. It;s has been getting very cold here. ( Yes I know I'm from Washington I should be used to it by now, but it's a different type of cold). This coming weekend I will be going with my friend Meagen to visit my uncle in Heidelberg. That should be very fun! I promise to report on my adventures there. The weekend after that I will be going to AUSTRIA! and words cannot express how excited I am for that. There is sooo much to do here however So little time. I am getting an overdose of potato's but I love them so it's okay. I'm starting to miss my family. but not to the point where I am homesick. I think I've traveled enough now where its ot weird being away from them, plus I skype them enough that its like I never left them : ) Im excited to share all my adventures with friends and family and all of the photos I will have by then!!

Wow! its been a long time since I have been on here.... I kinda sort of forgot I was keeping a blog. Life in Lüneburg has had its ups and downs, its a lot harder to get adjusted to a foreign country than I had ever imagined. My classes are pretty hard to but Im enjoying the experience. Hamburg which is only 30 minutes away is super fun and a whole lot bigger than tiny old Lüneburg. This weekend we are headed to Munich for the annual Oktoberfest! I am very excited, however being the geniuses that we are we decided to go the cheap way and leave saturday morning at 7 am and get there at 7 pm that night then hang out at Oktoberfest till midnight and then go hang out around the town in till are train at 9am on Sunday, I think we will be very very exhausted at the end! But hey how many times can I say that I did that!
I will have to write all about munich when I get back on sunday... well maybe on monday since Im thinking that I will be very exhausted by the end of the night on sunday....

CLASSES
Well the second day of classes is now complete. So far it hasn't been all that bad, I have German language class from 9:00-10:30 monday thru thursday and then on Mondays and Thursdays I have German conversation class from 1:45-3:15. And then I might be taking a politics and lit. class on wednesdays , but I haven't decided about that quite yet. I think my favorite food here so far has been the Dönners which is funny because that is technically Turkish food but it is sold on every street almost. Im enjoying getting to know the town and what it has to offer, and trying to keep an open mind. Im also still trying to get used to time differences as to when I am awake and when people in the states are awake, i.e ( sometimes just because I am out in about, doesn't mean I should try and call home at midnight....I love the independence of it all, but its weird living in such a quiet apartment.
I miss all my friends all ready but I know that I still have there support and my families no matter how far I am away.
until next time thinking of you all <3

First day in Germany
Well I am super exhausted right now, and have been up for more than 24 hours but its only 2 in the afternoon here. My apartment is cute, but very lonely as the girl does not movie in until the 15th. The town is very adorable and the people all seem very nice. It just hit me that I am here for almost 4 months and that completely freaks me out! I already miss my family sooo much but i know this will be a good experience for me. I cant wait to explore the town and see what it has to offer! right now though im tired and really just want some hot chocolate and some food! so until tomorrow sending all my love

Tomorrow I leave for Germany for 3 1/2 months. ( Well technically I leave for Los Angeles tomorrow and Germany on Wednesday morning...) I am getting so excited for the new adventures I will have while abroad, but i wanted a simple way to keep in contact with all of my friends and family, and this seemed like the easiest way to do that. I will try and keep this updated as much as possible, but Im not promising anything. : )
