Wow! its been a long time since I have been on here.... I kinda sort of forgot I was keeping a blog. Life in Lüneburg has had its ups and downs, its a lot harder to get adjusted to a foreign country than I had ever imagined. My classes are pretty hard to but Im enjoying the experience. Hamburg which is only 30 minutes away is super fun and a whole lot bigger than tiny old Lüneburg. This weekend we are headed to Munich for the annual Oktoberfest! I am very excited, however being the geniuses that we are we decided to go the cheap way and leave saturday morning at 7 am and get there at 7 pm that night then hang out at Oktoberfest till midnight and then go hang out around the town in till are train at 9am on Sunday, I think we will be very very exhausted at the end! But hey how many times can I say that I did that!
I will have to write all about munich when I get back on sunday... well maybe on monday since Im thinking that I will be very exhausted by the end of the night on sunday....

CLASSES

Well the second day of classes is now complete. So far it hasn't been all that bad, I have German language class from 9:00-10:30 monday thru thursday and then on Mondays and Thursdays I have German conversation class from 1:45-3:15. And then I might be taking a politics and lit. class on wednesdays , but I haven't decided about that quite yet. I think my favorite food here so far has been the Dönners which is funny because that is technically Turkish food but it is sold on every street almost. Im enjoying getting to know the town and what it has to offer, and trying to keep an open mind. Im also still trying to get used to time differences as to when I am awake and when people in the states are awake, i.e ( sometimes just because I am out in about, doesn't mean I should try and call home at midnight....I love the independence of it all, but its weird living in such a quiet apartment.

I miss all my friends all ready but I know that I still have there support and my families no matter how far I am away.

until next time thinking of you all <3

First day in Germany

Well I am super exhausted right now, and have been up for more than 24 hours but its only 2 in the afternoon here. My apartment is cute, but very lonely as the girl does not movie in until the 15th. The town is very adorable and the people all seem very nice. It just hit me that I am here for almost 4 months and that completely freaks me out! I already miss my family sooo much but i know this will be a good experience for me. I cant wait to explore the town and see what it has to offer! right now though im tired and really just want some hot chocolate and some food! so until tomorrow sending all my love
